2nd-Quarter 2017 U.S. Air Fare Data
The average domestic air fare, adjusted for inflation, decreased to $356 in the second quarter of 2017, down 0.9 percent from $359 in the second quarter of 2016 but up 1.2 percent from $352 in the first quarter of 2017 , the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today.
